The City of Rio Vista is located at the gateway of the Sacramento Delta. On Highway 12 at the southeastern  portion of Solano County.

The City of Rio Vista is roughly 1.48 square miles in size. It is the seventh largest City in Solano County. The current population is approximately 7,000 residents. 

The City has an active downtown area with many on the water activities are available.

New homes are available and more are in development.
