The City of Dixon is located at the gateway of the Sacramento Valley and Delta. On Highway 80 at the northeastern portion of Solano County.

The City of Dixon is roughly 6.6 square miles in size. It is the sixth largest City in Solano County. The current population is approximately 16,000 residents.

Dixon has a rural small down atmosphere.

There are new homes that are available and more are in development.
